Hudson Valley Ribfest

This year’s Hudson Valley Ribfest is shaping up to be one of the best Ribfest’s EVER! The 2009 food festival has more vendors and shorter lines than in years past. In addition, there is a great line up of entertainment featuring live music, children’s activities and contests. Delicious ribs are still the star of the show showcasing some of the best rib vendors in the country. Scheduled to appear are; Big Moe’s M&M Ribs, Butch’s Smack Your Lips BBQ, Smoken Dudes Barbeque Co., Hickory Barbeque, Jack and Elia’s Texas Connection. New Vendors are still coming in so watch the website for updates.

The event will be held in New Paltz, New York and run from August 14th through the 16th and promises to be a lip-smakin’ good time. If you are using the GPS, the address is 249 Libertyville Road, New Paltz, NY 12561. The entry fee is just $5 and includes parking, entertainment and entry to the contest village and judging area. All the gourmet food items will be available for purchase as well as plenty of beverages to wet your whistle.
